  • The goal of AKC Urban Canine Good Citizen
is to test the dog’s skills in an urban setting.
    The test will be administered outdoors at the
Hillside Village Shopping Center where there
will be many people, moving vehicles,
streets to be crossed, noises, and distractions.
    Requirements
    1. Must already have the Canine Good Citizen
(CGC) certificate or title on record at AKC.
    2. Must have an AKC number of one of 3 types
(AKC registration number, PAL number, or AKC Canine Partners number).
All dogs, including mixed breeds, can get an AKC number.

Next Class Session Starts “August 17th 2026″

Classes starts the week of :”August 17th 2026″. Please check our
Class Schedule for more information and  times. Orientation video
will be available to students after registration.
Wear comfortable clothing, tennis shoes or other rubber-soled shoes. 
High heels are not allowed as they can damage the surface of the training floor.
Only flat-soled shoes are allowed on the training floor for safety reasons.
